Majestic Theater to host nostalgic 'Home For The Holidays' revue

WEST SPRINGFIELD West Springfield's Majestic Theater will present "Home For The Holidays" Dec. 17 through 22.

The show will include traditional holiday songs, comedy and magic and has been created especially for Majestic audiences. Similar in style to nostalgic holiday specials headlined by Andy Williams and Perry Como, "Home For The Holidays" will be hosted by Jimmy Mazz.

Several favorite Majestic performers will entertain, including vocalists Lea Oppedisano ("Golf," "The Full Monty"), Luis Manzi ("Piecemeal: The Frankenstein Musical," "Golf"), Rebecca Canuel (2009 Open Mic Winner) and Tom Knightlee ("John & Paul," "The Full Monty").

Also appearing will be comedian Dave Yubruh and magician Jeff Pyzocha, with a special visit from Santa. Mitch Chakour will serve as music director.

Tickets for "Home For The Holidays" are $18 and $20 for adults, and $12 for children under 12 and are available by visiting or calling the Majestic Theater Box Office at 747-7797 during its hours of operation (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.).

The Theater Project is a non-profit company that Producing Director Danny Eaton founded in 1991. Since March 1997 it has been in residence in West Springfield's historic Majestic Theater, a century-old venue. For more information, visit www.majestictheater.com.
