The following summer schedule of planetarium shows at the Springfield Science Museum will be in effect through Aug. 30.
11:15 a.m.: Splendors of the Summer Sky
Noon: Magic Sky (ages three to seven)
1 p.m.: Oceans in Space (ages seven and up)
2 p.m.: Stars Around the Campfire (ages eight and up)
Planetarium tickets are $3 for adults and $2 for ages three to 17, in addition to museum admission. Tickets are free for members of the Springfield Museums.
The Springfield Museums are located on the Quadrangle at 21 Edwards St. in downtown Springfield. Free parking is available in the Edwards Street parking lots.
Summer hours are Monday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Science Museum is open Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Admission is $10 for adults, $7 for seniors and college students, $5 for children three to 17, and free for children under three and museum members. General admission is free for Springfield residents with proof of address. The fee provides admission to all four museums and the Dr. Seuss National Memorial Sculpture Garden.
