You vs. food - The Mick unveils new giant burger

HOLYOKE - The Mick, the casual dining spot at Holyoke's Delaney House, has introduced The Pounder, a burger big enough to feed a party of four. And with it, The Mick has issued a challenge: Dinner is free for any individual diner who can polish off the burger, bun, mountain of fixings and gigantic side of French fries.

Available on the menu for The Mick's Tuesday burger night, the pounder is priced at $25 and offers more than enough food to satisfy four hungry diners.

The Pounder includes a two-pound burger patty, topped with eight slices of cheese, eight slices of bacon, lettuce and tomato, served on a focaccia round with a side of pickles and a pound of fries. It rounds out a menu that also includes cheeseburgers, turkey burgers, veggie burgers, a fish sandwich and, during the build-up to St. Patrick's day, the Parade Day Burger, a classic burger topped with Swiss cheese, corned beef and sauerkraut.
