|HOLYOKE - The Mick, the casual dining spot at Holyoke's Delaney House, has introduced The Pounder, a burger big enough to feed a party of four. And with it, The Mick has issued a challenge: Dinner is free for any individual diner who can polish off the burger, bun, mountain of fixings and gigantic side of French fries.|
Available on the menu for The Mick's Tuesday burger night, the pounder is priced at $25 and offers more than enough food to satisfy four hungry diners.
The Pounder includes a two-pound burger patty, topped with eight slices of cheese, eight slices of bacon, lettuce and tomato, served on a focaccia round with a side of pickles and a pound of fries. It rounds out a menu that also includes cheeseburgers, turkey burgers, veggie burgers, a fish sandwich and, during the build-up to St. Patrick's day, the Parade Day Burger, a classic burger topped with Swiss cheese, corned beef and sauerkraut.
