The Brooks Room of the Wilbraham Public Library will showcase the art of Eloise Genest and Susanne Paquette during the month of August. The artists' works complement each other in stark contrast. Eloise's oils and acrylics evidence her delight in thick, generous paint application. By comparison, Susanne's pieces accomplish their vision with the simplest of strokes, allowing equal weight to the space and emptiness surrounding a subject.

An artists' reception, open to the public, will be held in the Brooks Room on Wednesday, August 6th, from 5 to 7.
