Six Flags seeks 'frightening' employees

AGAWAM -- Six Flags New England is looking to cast 140 people for this year's Fright Fest, beginning Oct. 2. Be a part of not only a Halloween playground, but the troupe who will bring a chilling atmosphere to life.

Six Flags New England is seeking actors, dancers, singers, specialty performers, characters including Looney Tunes, Wiggles and Mr. Six, make-up artists, freaks, fools, ghosts and ghouls for live shows and haunted houses. Six Flags New England is also looking for in-park employees for the fall season. Catch the Six Flags of fun fever and join the team!

Casting for all roles will take place Aug. 28 from 1 to 7 p.m. Dance call will begin at 6 p.m. Casting primarily haunted attraction actors and other remaining positions will take place Sept. 10 from 3 to 8 p.m. No dance call is scheduled.

All candidates are encouraged to have a resume and a recent photo. Dance and singer applicants must attend one of the dance calls. Come dressed ready to move and prepared to learn short combination. Dance roles include a magic show, Wiggles and Looney Tunes. Characters must meet DC Comics, Warner Bros and/or Six Flags casting requirements. All candidates will be interviewed along with their audition and must be prepared to perform a short cold read monologue.
