WESTFIELD – The American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer will be taking place on Oct. 5 at Stanley Park.
Volunteers interested in serving on the planning committee are needed now. Join other area residents to help organize this fun and meaningful event. Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is a noncompetitive, three-mile walk that unites hundreds of women, men and children in the community to raise funds and awareness to fight breast cancer while offering hope to all people facing the disease.
The event will unite the community to honor and celebrate breast cancer survivors, educate women about the importance of prevention and early detection, raise funds for the fight to end breast cancer, and commemorate more than two decades of making a difference in the fight to end breast cancer.
