| The Center for Business and Technology at Springfield Technical Community College (STCC) announces that 100 percent of the students who completed the Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) Program passed the recent state certification exam.|
The employment of nurse aides is projected to grow 28 percent between 2006 and 2016, much faster than the average and the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) projects the addition of 264,000 positions during the next decade.

Classes will be conduced two to three nights per week and clinical experience will take place during late afternoon/evening hours in a local nursing home under the supervision of Registered Nurse (RN) instructors. Major topics will include vital signs, moving and turning patients, personal care basics, bed making, bed bath and feeding, record keeping and responding to emergencies.
Applications are now being accepted for the next program and space is limited. Interested individuals should go to http://cbt.stcc.edu or call 755-4225 or 755-4502 to enroll.
