Chefs for Jimmy supports Dana-Farber
AGAWAM Join forces with 30 of the area’s culinary “superheroes” at Chefs for Jimmy to raise more than $100,000 for adult and pediatric cancer care and research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute to help knock out the ultimate villain, cancer.
The 22nd annual Chefs for Jimmy will take place at Agawam’s Chez Josef on Jan. 20, 2012, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. and will feature tastings of delicious dishes, a fantastic opportunity drawing, and a silent auction.
The event honors the memory of Neal Webber, a long-time supporter of the Jimmy Fund. Participating restaurants and caterers will create dishes and décor to highlight the superhero theme.
Since 1990, Chefs for Jimmy has raised more than $1 million for adult and pediatric cancer care and research at Dana-Farber. Tickets to the event are $75 and are available only in advance. Order tickets today by calling 800-52-JIMMY or online at jimmyfund.org/chefs-for-jimmy.
