SPRINGFIELD The 30th Annual Early Childhood Conference, presented by the Preschool Enrichment Team Inc., a non-profit organization, will take place March 12 from 8:15 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. at the Sheraton Hotel in downtown Springfield.
Join us for a day of professional development with more than 300 early care educators from around New England.
We welcome author Lesley Koplow, Director for the Center of Emotionally Responsive Practice at Bank Street College, New York, N.Y., as our keynote speaker.
A $95 fee includes morning refreshment, keynote, 15 pertinent workshops, conference materials, vendor area, EEC training certificate and 0.5 CEUs.
Research shows that one of the most consistent indicators of high quality in a preschool environment is the presence of qualified teachers who have obtained advanced learning. Children in high quality programs are less likely to drop out of school, become involved in drugs, gangs and criminal activity. Strengthening children's early foundation now will provide a stable and strong workforce for the future.
The mission of the Preschool Enrichment Team is to improve the lives of young children through our work with early childhood educators. We do this by providing early childhood training and professional development, consultation, mentoring, career counseling and advocacy.
