Jewish Geriatric Services names Baicker new CEO May 28, 2012
LONGMEADOW Martin W. Baicker, FACHE, was recently named as the new president and chief executive officer of Jewish Geriatric Services (JGS).
Baicker comes to JGS with more than 25 years of experience building and maintaining multi-system healthcare organizations.
For 14 years, Baicker, who holds an MPA in health administration from the Wagner School of Public Service, New York University, was senior vice president of operations and then senior vice president and administrator of Liberty Health / Meadowlands Hospital Medical Center in Secaucus, N.J., a 165-bed non-profit community hospital with 470 employees and more than 300 medical staff members.
Baicker also held titles of vice president, clinical services; vice president, support services; and assistant executive director, and director of quality assurance at Liberty Health/Jersey City Medical Center, Jersey City, N.J.
He also held trustee positions on the boards of the Meadowlands Regional Chamber of Commerce, Hudson Perinatal Consortium, and Hudson Cradle, a Home for Infants, and was an adjunct instructor at Adelphi University Graduate School of Business, Garden City, N.Y., and College of Mount St. Vincent, Bronx, N.Y.
Baicker is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
