Keystone Woods welcomes Laurie Waddell as executive director
SPRINGFIELD – Keystone Woods Senior Living Community has welcomed Laurie P. Waddell as executive director.
Waddell brings a wealth of management experience in senior housing and healthcare, and will direct operations for the 186-unit independent living, assisted living, and memory care community.
"Laurie is a great addition to the Keystone Woods family, as she brings a combination of expertise in management, business development, and a strong focus on resident care, safety and service," Angie Thornton, Keystone Woods director of Community Relations, said.
Waddell stated, "As executive director, my goal is to ensure that we are meeting the needs of our residents in the specific areas of safety, food service, and general day to day living at Keystone Woods."
Prior to joining Keystone Woods, Waddell was executive director at The Village at South Farms assisted living and memory care community in Middletown, Conn. She also served as regional operations director for medical urgent care and occupational healthcare centers in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
Waddell earned a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
