Lambert named HMC Cancer Care Navigator

HOLYOKE – Vice President of Inpatient Services James Keefe, recently announced the appointment of Jolene Lambert, R.N., O.C.N. to the position of Cancer Care Navigator for the Oncology/Hematology Department at Holyoke Medical Center (HMC).|
Lambert began her career at HMC as a float R.N., then moved into a staff nurse position in ICU. Over the years, she worked in the OR, Emergency, and Short Stay Surgery departments before moving to the Oncology Department nine years ago. She has received certification in oncology nursing from the Oncology Nursing Society.
In her new role as patient navigator, she will provide a full realm of oncology treatment services as well as be available to patients to help them find needed services, schedule appointments, help with insurance claims, and make sure patients have their questions answered and have all the information needed for their diagnosis.
