Volunteer money managers sought

GREATER SPRINGFIELD -- Greater Springfield Senior Services is seeking volunteers with good budgeting and organizational skills to help manage the finances of older, low-income individuals.

Volunteers must be able to donate up to three hours a month of their time and have transportation. Money managers visit clients in their homes and assist them with setting up household budgets, putting bills in order, check writing, and keeping track of income and expenses.

Volunteers are trained and matched with individuals in their community who need help to manage their everyday finances.

For additional information, contact Greater Springfield Senior Services' money management program supervisor at 781-8800 ext. 163.
