|WEST SPRINGFIELD On Oct. 25, DiGrigoli Salon is sponsoring a cut-a-thon to help raise funds for the local non-profit organization Educate Malawi Inc. DiGrigoli, located at 1578 Riverdale St., will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for $10 haircuts, a portion of which will be donated to Educate Malawi Inc. |
This is a non-profit organization established to assist the people of Malawi, Africa, in the area of education. Karen Hardy and daughter Shannon Massey spent eight weeks in Malawi in the fall of 2007. They returned in October and by May of 2008 had established, along with Karen's husband Stephen, Educate Malawi Inc.
Come get your hair cut and support a good cause! It's a win-win situation.
