New hours for Springfield Museums

SPRINGFIELD – The Springfield Museums will be open seven days a week starting June 24, with extended hours on Thursdays.

All museums will be open from Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to. 5 p.m.

The Blake House Café will be open Monday through Wednesday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Thursday from 9 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Springfield History Library and Archives will be open Tuesday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and the first Saturday of the month from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Science Museum and the D'Amour Museum of Fine Arts will be open until 7:30 p.m. on Thursdays. Admission after 5 p.m. is $5 for Museum members and Springfield residents; $10 for nonmembers (includes "Amazing Butterflies" and "Worn to be Wild").
