From 12:30 to 3:30 p.m., visitors can meet the “Big Guy” as he takes some much deserved time off and pops over to his favorite carousel. Not only can visitors see how Santa spends his vacation, they can take a picture with him and of course there will be treats for all and get a start on holiday tree decorations with a special holiday craft.
Those who are heading over to the “Positively Holyoke” concert series on July 27 to see Joey Canata and The Memories, remember to stop by the one and only original carousel from Mountain Park. To celebrate these wonderful concert series, the Holyoke Merry-Go-Round will be open until 6 p.m. on Wednesdays in July.
Pack up a picnic basket, claim your spot for the concert and head over to the merry-go-round for a trip down memory lane. Rides are still only $1 per person, per ride. Summer hours are Tuesday to Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 4 p.m.
