LONGMEADOW — Longmeadow High School Principal Larry Berte speaks to the crowd gathered as School Building Committee Co-Chairs Christine Swanson and Robert Barkett and members of the high school's music program look on at the groundbreaking of the new high school building on May 14.

Berte called the future building a place where all students will thrive for the next 100 years and thanked the community for its support in voting in favor of the project.
