Cohen begins new administration

AGAWAM -- Mayor Richard Cohen, left, took the oath of office on Jan. 4 at Town Hall.

He told Reminder Publications, "It's a wonderful feeling [to be mayor again]. I'm glad to be back."

Cohen defeated Agawam resident Derek Benton in the November election and four others in the preliminary election, including incumbent Susan Dawson and former City Councilors Cecilia Calabrese and Paul Cavallo.
