WOMEN'S FELLOWSHIP

MEALS ON WHEELS DRIVERS
The Pleasant View Senior Center has an urgent need for drivers, permanent and substitute, to deliver Meals on Wheels to housebound elders in East Longmeadow. Two hours one day a week is all that is required. Stipend is paid. Contact Sandy or Stephanie at 525-5436. Drivers will need to pass a background check.

CAPUANO CARE FREE SERVICE
Capuano Care will offer free blood pressure, glucose and total cholesterol screening on the first Friday of each month at 8 a.m., at the Pleasant View Senior Center, 328 North Main St. The next date is Oct. 1.
SQUARE DANCE LESSONS

PULASKI PARK CELEBRATION
On Oct. 10 at noon, there will be a ceremony at Pulaski Park, center of Easthampton, to commemorate Pulaski Day. Wreath laying ceremony and a prayer offered by Father Piotr Pawlus, Pastor of Our Lady of the Valley Parish. Mayor Michael Tautznik will also address the gathering. An honor guard from Easthampton American Legion riders Post 24 and the American Legion will take part in the ceremony.

BASIC PISTOL SAFETY

The Longmeadow Department of Public Works (DPW) will be flushing water mains beginning Oct. 12. The work will last for approximately two weeks. Check your water before washing clothes or cooking. System flushing may affect water pressure or discolor water in the vicinity of operations.
