Knapik takes over at City Hall

WESTFIELD -- Mayor Daniel Knapik, right, took the oath of office during a ceremony at South Middle School on Jan. 4.

"I'm thrilled and ready to get started," he told Reminder Publications after the ceremony, adding that the city's fiscal crises are a main concern.

Knapik beat incumbent Michael Boulanger in the November election.
