AGAWAM Six Flags New England announced on Aug. 30 the upcoming addition of Bonzai Pipelines, a 65' tall waterslide complex of six slides, to Hurricane Harbor in the spring of 2013.
Bonzai will feature 257-foot waterslides that patrons will plunge into from the "DrenalineDrop launching capsule where the floor drops out beneath them, sending them free-falling down the slide," according to Melissa Pinkerton, communications manager for Six Flags New England.
Pinkerton stated, "On the heels of launching our 11th coaster, Goliath, this season we wanted to add an exciting new thrill element to our incredible water park. Bonzai Pipelines offers extreme thrills and excitement with its state-of-the-art technology."
Pinkerton summed up the new attraction as an "individualized scare" that thrill-seekers and water park enthusiasts alike will enjoy.
