PANCAKE BREAKFAST FUNDRAISER

ELDTC MEETING
The E.L. Democratic Town Committee will meet on Jan. 14 at 7 p.m. in the conference room of the Pleasant View Senior Center. Assistant DA Stephen Spelman, who is running for District Attorney, will be the speaker. The public is invited.
SENIOR FRIENDSHIP CLUB
The E.L. Senior Friendship Club will be entertained by the Harmoni-Cats on Jan. 14 at the Pleasant View Senior Center, 328 N. Main St., following noon luncheon. VOLUNTEER DISHWASHERS NEEDED
The E.L. Council on Aging is in need of volunteers to help in the kitchen as a dishwasher for four hours a day, one or more days a week. The hours needed are from 9:45 a.m. - 1:45 p.m. Call Sandy Grabierz at 525-5436.
MEMORY WRITING WORKSHOP

BEGINNER ACRYLIC PAINTING
A minimum of 10 students is needed for this new course to take place at the Pleasant View Senior Center, 328 N. Main St., beginning Feb. 2 at 2 p.m. Instructor Barbara Gordon will guide students in drawing from picture or still life display, no portraits. Emphasis will be on drawing, color mixing and shading. 2010 RED SOX BUS TRIPS
The E.L. Men's Softball League in conjunction with the E.L. Rec. Dept. has scheduled three Red Sox baseball bus trips to Fenway Park June 16 vs. the Arizona Diamondbacks; Aug. 2 vs. the Cleveland Indians; and Sept. 3 vs. the Chicago White Sox. Starting time for all games is 7:05 p.m. Seats are 1st Base roof boxes. Price for each trip is $98 each, which includes ticket, transportation and box lunch. Stop into the Rec. PV SOCCER REGISTRATIONS

FREE RECYCLING BINS
The Hampden Board of Health has 100 free blue recycling bins to give to the first 100 residents that submit a letter of intent. Letter must include name, address and telephone name. ITALIAN, GERMAN, FRENCH CLASSES
The Longmeadow Adult Center at 231 Maple Rd. offers classes in Italian, German and French. A new series of Italian classes will begin Jan. 26 and end March 16. SOCCER FOR PRESCHOOLERS
Ages 2 - 4. Is your preschooler ready for soccer but not ready to be on a team yet? Soccer for Preschoolers is the ideal soccer experience for those that have lots of energy. The program is designed to introduce children to basic soccer concepts in an educational and enjoyable atmosphere. Individual instruction will be provided in passing, shooting and dribbling skills. GIRLS LACROSSE ASSOC.
For grades 3 - 8. Program runs from the beginning of April - mid-June. Practices are instructional and competitive games are scheduled with other youth lacrosse programs in the area. Teams typically have 2 - 4 lacrosse events (games or practices) per week. This includes weekdays and/or weekends. CENSUS FORMS MAILED
Town Clerk Beverly Litchfield wants Wilbraham residents to know that the 2010 annual town census forms were mailed on recently to each residential address. Litchfield is asking residents to return them to her office as soon as possible. There will be a drop box on the counter of the Town Clerk for those who choose not to mail them. If you do not receive a census form or have misplaced the one sent please call the office and the info can be taken over the phone or a new form can be mailed to you. SLEIGH RALLY
Jan. 24, 11 a.m., at Wilbraham Community Garden. The Friends of Recreation and the Wilbraham Community Garden will be hosting their first Sleigh Rally. Horses of all sizes and their drivers will be competing for the coveted blue ribbon in a series of classes. Entries will be from all over New England.
