AGAWAM
AUTISM SUPPORT GROUP
An autism support group for parents will be starting May 21 from 7 - 8:30 p.m. in the Garden Room located at the Senior Center, 954 Main St. Starting in June the autism support group will meet on the first and third Thursday of the month from 7 - 8:30 p.m. in the Garden Room. This group will be for parents to discuss their experiences, ideas, as well as to get to know other people who have children with autism. Any questions, call Angie at 330-6376.
English Tea & Luncheon
The Fifth Annual English Tea & Luncheon will take place at the Agawam Congregational Church, 745 Main St. on April 25 at 1 p.m. Dainty tea sandwiches, served by our white gloved waiters, along with tasty desserts, a hat contest and skit will also be included. There will also be raffle baskets and door prizes. Tickets are $12 for adults and $5 for girls under 12 and can be purchased at the church mornings until noon or by calling 789-3187 to reserve.
PRINCESS PARTY
St. David's Episcopal Church, 699 Springfield St., Feeding Hills, invites girls of all ages to their Princess Pajama Party on May 8 from 6:30 - 9 p.m. Paint your nails, do your hair, make a crown, be pampered. Participants will receive special snacks and princess-like treats and enjoy a circle story time where a special princess story will be read. To register, call the church office at 786-6133.
CHRISTIAN TAPES
Friends of the Agawam Senior Center are selling Christian tapes. The name is "Stop, Look and Listen Because Jesus Speaks," featuring the vocals of Benita Oullette and her brother Mark Harvey. They are the children of Jeanita Pinette, a member of the Agawam Senior Center. Cost of the CD is $15. You can purchase the tapes at the Senior Center or call Emile Cot at 335-9440 for further info.
CRAFT AND VENDOR SHOW

"WATCHING NATURE'S WONDERS"
"Watching Nature's Little Wonders" is the theme of Richard Raymond's special display at the Agawam Public Library during May. His solidly constructed birdhouses and bird feeders will be on exhibit. Orders are welcome.
MEET THE ARTIST
Photographer David Griffin's (dmg-photography.com) "The Radiance of Nature" exhibit will be on display at the Agawam Public Library during May. A "Meet the Artist" reception will take place May 5 Community Room at 7 p.m., followed by a short program featuring "Images in the Radiance of Nature" series. Viewing is during regular library hours.
ST. PAT'S COMMITTEE DISPLAY
During May the Agawam Public Library will feature displays by the Agawam St. Patrick's Committee in the Johnson Memorial Case and double glass cases.
POT ROAST DINNER
St. David's Episcopal Church, 699 Springfield St., will host a Pot Roast dinner on May 4 at 6 p.m. Menu: pot roast, oven roasted potatoes, glazed carrots, garden salad, bread and butter, bread pudding, coffee, tea or lemonade. TURNING 65 AND MEDICARE

The Holy Name Society of St. Stanislaus Church is sponsoring an Old Fashioned Ham & Bean Supper on May 9 in the school and parish center on Front Street from 4 - 8 p.m. Tickets may be purchased at the door. Cost is $6 for complete dinner. Take out is available. This event will benefit the school and parish center.

Mother's and Father's Day shopping event to benefit Shriners Hospital will take place on May 2 from 2 - 6 p.m. at My Brothers Place on Grove Street. Vendors will include Avon, Lia Sophia, Dove Chocolate, Home & Garden and more. Also collecting can tabs. There will be a raffle with prizes from area businesses. Cash only please.
CHICOPEE SENIOR TRAVEL CLUB
Join the Chicopee Senior Travel Club on May 12 as they travel to Luciano's at Lake Pearl in Wrentham to remember the '50s with the Four Aces. Price covers luncheon, show, transportation and driver. St. Stan's Athletic Assoc. will host an all you can eat pancake breakfast on April 26 from 7:30 a.m. - noon at the St. Stanislaus School cafeteria, 534 Front St. Tickets are $5 for adults and $2.50 for children 10 and under. BAKED BEAN AND HOT DOG SUPPER
The Church of Christ is hosting a baked bean and hot dog supper on April 25 from 5 - 7 p.m. Cost is $8 for adults, $4 for kids under 12. Menu: baked beans, hot dogs, potato salad, cole slaw, dinner rolls, assorted pies and beverages. Public is invited. Tickets may be purchased at the door.

SPRING TAG SALE
St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 34 Jarvis Ave., will host its annual spring tag sale on May 2 from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. Good used furniture, household items, jewelry, baby items, toys, tools, books, clothing and more will be priced for quick sale. After 1 p.m. you will be able to fill a bag for $1. Donations of clean, usable items will be gratefully appreciated and may be left at the church April 27 - 30 from 10 a.m. - noon and 6 - 8 p.m. St. Peter's Youth (the Spys) will provide a hot dog lunch and, weather permitting, they will host a car wash. ELKS SPAGHETTI SUPPER
On the last Thursday of every month the Holyoke Lodge of Elks #902 hosts a spaghetti supper. This month it will be on April 30 from 4 - 7 p.m. at the Lodge Home on Whitney Avenue. Menu: tossed salad with dressing, spaghetti smothered with Elks special meat sauce, parmesan cheese, plain and garlic rolls, lemonade, coffee or tea. Price is $5 for adults, $2 for youngsters 6 - 12, and free for tots five and under.

CHERRY BLOSSOM BUS TRIP
Springfield Garden Club will sponsor a bus trip to Satura Matsuri, the 28th annual Cherry Blossom Festival at the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens on May 3. Workshops and over 60 performances and events are featured. The motor coach leaves the Longmeadow Shops parking lot at 7 a.m. and returns at 7 p.m. Price includes bus fare, tip and admission. A NIGHT TO REMEMBER
A night to remember for friends and alumni of Our Lady of Hope School will be on May 16 in the school auditorium. This event, to mark the school's closing, will begin with 4 p.m. Mass in church. A ziti and meatball dinner will take place afterward in the school. Come and reminisce, tour the school and meet old friends. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for kids up to eighth grade and kids under three are free. There will be a cash bar. Tickets are available at the school, the rectory and the Hope Center. HOLIDAY CARD CONTEST
State Rep. Don Humason Jr. announces the 13th Annual Senior Citizens Artistic Interpretation of the State House Holiday Card Contest. Entries must be received by July 1.
