On Aug. 5 there will be a bus trip from St. Luke's Greek Orthodox for Tanglewood on Parade leaving at 4:30 p.m. Cost includes lawn seating, the bus and a boxed lunch. Bring your own beverage and seating. Call the church for reservations 525-4551.

MUSIC FOR LITTLE PEOPLE
The Summer Program for the month of August for those age 0 - 7. Classes will be available Aug. 5 - 28, Tues. at 5 p.m. for infants, 6 p.m. for mixed ages. Wed. classes will be at 10 and 11 a.m. for mixed ages. Thursday classes will be at 9:30 a.m. for preschool and 10:30 a.m. for mixed ages. VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Faith Tabernacle Church (15 Kibbe Road, East Longmeadow) announces its Vacation Bible School. INTOWN SOCCER
The East Long. Rec. Dept reminds parents of the deadline to register for "Fall Intown Soccer" is Aug. 8 by 4 p.m. Those who are ENTERING "K" thru 8th grade are eligible to register. Fee is $50 (N.R. pay add. $15). Rgistrations after the 8th will be placed on "Waiting List" along with a $10 late fee. Come into the Rec. Dept., Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. to register.

H.S. INTOWN SOCCER
The East Long. Rec. Dept. announces a new program for the Fall: "H.S. COED Intown Soccer" in Wilbraham League. Those entering grades 9-12 are eligible to play shirt/socks included in $50 fee. For more info and deadline to register, call 525-5437.

FIELD HOCKEY
The East Long. Rec. Dept. still has openings in its "Fall Field Hockey" program in the 3rd/4th - $45 & 5th/6th - $65 grade level 7th/8th grade is full. For more info go to ELyouthfieldhockey.com.

TENNIS LESSONS
The East Long. Rec. Dept. still has openings in its "Jr. Tennis Program", which runs from 9 a.m - noon, Monday -Friday at the high school. The fee is $85 per week ($75 after 1st registration). Those who are age 6-18 are eligible to register. Weeks left for this season are July 28, Aug. 4 and Aug. 11. Openings are available, also, in the "Pee Wee Program", which runs 9-10 a.m., Monday-Friday at the high school. The fee is $45/week. Those who are age 3.5-6 are eligible to register. Weeks left are July 28 and Aug. 4. (N.R. pay add. $15 fee).

ACTIVITY CENTERS
The East Long. Rec. Dept still has openings in its "Activity Centers" at the Pine Knoll Recreation Area. Those in Grades K-8th are eligible to attend this Monday-Friday program from 9 a.m. -3 p.m. (extended day is, also, available at additional fee). Fee is $100 for one week or $190 for two consecutive weeks (N.R. pay add. $15 per week).

MAD SCIENCE
The East Long. Rec. Dept has openings left in its "3-2-1 BLAST OFF" and "SECRET AGENT LAB" programs for the weeks of Aug. 11 and 18. Explore rockets and see what it is like to live in outer space and take home your own rocket. Or develop your "special agent" and "detective skills". Fees are $160 (N.R. add. $15).

YOUTH GOLF
The East Long. Rec. Dept has openings in its "Youth Golf program" for the week of Aug. 18. The fee is $97 (N.R. pay add. $15). Those in grades 1-4 attend from 2-3p.m. and those in grades 4-8 from 3-4 p.m. This is a great program at Fenway Golf with Bob Lake who is a PGA Head Professional.

DRIVER MATURE SAFETY PROGRAM
On Aug. 14 and 15, the Pleasant View Senior Center will host the AARP Mature Driver Safety Program. The course runs two days, from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m., includes a lunch break. Cost is $10, and includes a workbook and video. You must attend both classes to get a certificate of completion. Sign up in the Senior Center office and pick up a brochure with more details. Course size limited to 30. Please be advised there is no written test to pass, nor will this course have any effect on your driver's license.

A TASTE OF REDSTONE
Be treated to a heart smart and healthy meal at the Pleasant View Senior Center, 328 North Main St., prepared by the chef at Redstone Rehabilitation and Nursing Center on Aug. 15 at 2 p.m. Call 525-5436 to reserve your spot. Free of charge.

MOHEGAN SUN BUS TRIP
The Morning Glory Walkers are sponsoring a trip to Mohegan Sun on Sept. 9. Tickets are $23, and include bus, driver's tip, $10 lunch voucher, $10 gambling voucher, and Geronimo game to play on the ride. The bus departs the Pleasant View Senior Center at 8:30 a.m. and returns at 5 p.m. For tickets and info, call Jennie Wood, at 525-2821. Park in back of the building.

GREATER SPRINGFIELD
CYBER SAFETY
The SeniorNet Computer Learning Center at the Springfield Jewish Community Center is offering a new session workshop on Cyber Security and Troubleshooting. The 8-hour workshop will be presented in four 2-hour sessions, Mondays and Wednesdays, Aug. 18, 20, 25 and 27, 1 to 3 p.m. Fee is $25. All classes will be held at the SeniorNet Computer Center, Springfield Jewish Community Center, 1160 Dickinson St. Springfield. BUBBLE GUM CONTEST AT STORRS We're celebrating with a bang as the summer comes to a close with a BUBBLE GUM CONTEST in the Philip Michael Lauro II Discovery Room at the Storrs Library on Aug. 11, from 3:30 to 4 p.m. for kids of all ages. Who can blow the biggest bubble? Bubble gum will be provided to everyone who participates and prizes will be awarded.
