CLUTTER DR. HITS BEAD LEAGUE
The Western New England Bead League (WNEBL) announces its next meeting on June 29 from 5 - 7 p.m. Carleen Fischer Hoffman, the Clutter Dr., will be the featured speaker. Learn some quick tips on controlling the mess in your space! Members are invited to bring a photo of their beading/craft area. The area judged "worst" will be gifted a free consultation with Carleen, plus a surprise gift from Colorful Creations. 50TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
Don't miss the festivities on June 26 from 3 - 5 p.m. when the Pleasant View Senior Center celebrates 50 years of service to elders in the community. This event is free and open to the public and will feature local dignitaries, guest speakers, hors d'oeuvres, desserts and punch. Seating is limited, so come into the Senior Center office to sign up and pick up your entry pass. We are also selling T-shirts in our office commemorating this special event for $12, sizes small through XXL.
DRIVERS NEEDED
Would you be willing to commit a few hours a week to make a difference in a senior's day? We are in need of drivers to assist with our Meals on Wheels program, either on a regular basis or on a fill-in basis, specifically on Mondays and/or Tuesdays. Although this is considered a volunteer position, drivers are paid a daily stipend and will need to pass a background check. Stop by the Senior Center office from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. to learn more about the position and to pick up the paperwork.
LUNCH & LEARN PROGRAM
The Pleasant View Senior Center, 328 North Main St., will welcome Nancy Wasco from the Post Office on July 16 at 11:30 a.m., who will speak about mail forwarding, mail service rates and other services the Post Office offers residents. Bring a lunch or make a reservation a day in advance for our congregate meal.
SWAROVSKI CRYSTAL JEWELRY CLASS
Sandy Merrill will host a special jewelry class using Swarovski Crystals at the Pleasant View Senior Center on July 23 from 1:30 - 3:30 p.m. Sign up in the Senior Center office, $5 deposit required. Class size is limited to 20 people.

FIVE MILE FOOT RACE
The first Annual JGS Cross-Crestview Race, a five-mile foot race in the early morning on the cart path along Crestview Country Club's beautiful course, will take place June 30. LHS JAZZ BAND CONCERT
Members of the very talented Longmeadow High School Jazz Band will give a repeat performance for Saul Finestone's final Journey to Jazz session this season. UPDATE BLISS PARK CROSSING
The Longmeadow Police Dept. and the Longmeadow Parks & Rec. are pleased to announce that crossing guard services will be continued for the summer of 2008 at Bliss Park. For the safety of all pool patrons, a crossing guard will be provided Monday - Friday from 12:45 - 4:45 p.m. beginning June 23 at the corner of Westmoreland Avenue and Laurel Street. Pool and park users are encouraged to cross at this location.
SUMMER CAMP REGISTRATION
Please be advised that registration for any licensed Longmeadow Parks & Rec. camps will not be available online beginning two weeks before the camps start date. However, registration may still be processed in our office during normal business hours, provided there is still space available. BOYS LACROSSE CAMP
Grades 3 - 6. If you have never played before or have limited experience in lacrosse, this camp is a great way to learn the fastest game on two feet! Participants will focus on skill development. Coaches have some equipment and can provide helmets and gloves. If participants have their own equipment, please bring it. Participants will be divided by grade within the camp. BOYS LACROSSE CAMP
Grades 7 - 9. This week, especially for middle school students, will focus on learning the fundamentals and skills needed for athletes to participate on the high school level. Participants are asked to bring their own equipment but coaches will have a limited number of helmets and gloves for athletes to use. Participants are required to provide their own stick, mouth guard, swim gear, water bottle and lunch (lunch drink provided.) Daily swim time at Reynolds pool during last hour of camp. CHEERLEADING CAMP
Ages 4 - 6. Children will learn very basic cheer and dance moves, jumps and stunts along with fun, easy cheers and a short dance routine. This experience will have a camp-feel, incorporating age-appropriate games and activities with cheer skills. Children will play a lot of games and have fun! Children should bring a bag lunch (drink provided), full water bottle and sunscreen.Runs June 23 - 27 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Longmeadow Community House Dance Room. HIPPA: What's All the Fuss About?
Learn more about HIPPA, patient confidentiality and patient's rights. Atty. Ali Bers, from Western Mass. Legal Services, will be at the Longmeadow Adult Center, 231 Maple Rd., on July 14 at 1 p.m. Note that this is a change in the previously announced date. ITALIAN SUMMER CLASSES
Stephanie will continue the Italian lessons on Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. for the summer by combining both present beginners and advanced groups. She is also developing a workable plan for the fall to combine those who have no background with those in the present beginners' class, so that it will be satisfactory to all. Call 565-4150 to check.

Evangel Assembly of Wilbraham and Texas Roadhouse are partnering together to raise money for the Springfield Youth Athletic Association (SPYAA) Summer Sports Program on June 23.
