SWIM LESSONS

PINE KNOLL RECREATION AREA
The E.L. Rec. Dept. offers family memberships to use the facilities at Pine Knoll. Picnic tables, grills, tennis court, sand volleyball, fields for baseball and soccer and use of the pool or just a relaxing day! SUMMER STAGE CAMP
Summer stage camp for all E.L. students entering grades 3 - 5. Spend the day with Mapleshade teachers doing fun but curriculum related theatrical activities. PANCAKE BREAKFAST

BOOK CLUB
The Book Club will meet June 30 at the Pleasant View Senior Center at 10:30 a.m. This month's reading is "Dog On It" by Spencer Quinn. The selected book for summer reading is "World Without End" by Ken Follett, to be discussed on Sept. 29 when the Book Club resumes its monthly meetings.
SENIOR CENTER HOLIDAY CLOSING
The Pleasant View Senior Center will be closed on July 3 in recognition of the Fourth of July holiday. No Meals on Wheels will be delivered.
CHORUS DIRECTOR NEEDED
The Pleasant View Senior Center has an opening for a Chorus Director to lead the Senior Chorus beginning in the fall a monthly stipend is paid. Call the Senior Center at 525-5436.
POSSIBILITIES IN SIGHT
On July 16, a Low Vision Specialist will be at the Pleasant View Senior Center, 328 North Main St., to discuss common eye conditions such as macular degeneration, glaucoma and diabetes, and the effects they have on daily living. There will be a demo of low-tech and high-tech solutions to the everyday challenges of living with low vision. Call 525-5436 to register.

ADULT SUMMER READING
Hampden Public Library is pleased to once again offer Summer Reading for Adults. Just read a library book and when you return it, rate the book 1 - 5 stars, 5 being the best. We will display these ratings throughout the adult section. It is a great way for others to select something they might not otherwise read. INFORMATION SESSION FOR WOMEN
Bay Path College will host an Information Session about its One-Day-A-Week Saturday College for adult women on July 7 at 6 p.m. in Helliwell Conference Room, Breck Fitness Center at 588 Longmeadow St. The info session will include a free financial aid workshop to assist prospective students with the financial aid process. Enjoy classical and light popular music as the history of brass musical instruments come alive through performance, lecture and show and tell. The Springfield Lady Titans U14 girls fastpitch softball team has earned a berth to the Girls U14 National Fastpitch Softball Tournament in Cary, N.C., to represent Springfield and surrounding communities. To help defray travel expenses for the girls the Titans will host a tag sale along with a bottle and can drive on July 11 at Beaulieu and Sons Home Improvement at 217 Grattan St., Chicopee. The Solid Waste Disposal and Recycling Center will be open on July 3, but closed on July 4. The Wilbraham Public Library will be closed on both July 3 and 4.
