Reservations are now being taken for a St. Michael's Young at Heart Club trip to York, Maine for a traditional Downeast Lobster Bake on June 10. Cost includes driver gratuity and a $10 non-refundable deposit is required. The deadline is May 29. Non-members are welcome. SENIOR FRIENDSHIP CLUB
The E.L. Senior Friendship Club will welcome Atty. Dave Carlson on May 7 when he will speak about "Taking Control of your Future: A Legal Check up" following lunch at the Pleasant View Senior Center. COMMODITIES DISTRIBUTION
Commodities will be distributed to East Longmeadow residents on May 20 from 1 - 3 p.m. at the Pleasant View Senior Center, 328 North Main St. If you have not already done so, come fill out paperwork in the office and pick up your ticket. No commodities will be given without a ticket, and paperwork must be completed prior to May 20!
BOOK CLUB
The next meeting of the Book Club will be on May 26 at 10:30 a.m. at the Pleasant View Senior Center, 328 North Main St. The book for May's meeting is "Nineteen Minutes" by Jodi Picoult. The Book Club welcomes new members anytime.

WOMENS HEALTH FAIR
A womens health fair will be taking place May16 from 10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 216 Allen St. The fair will feature fitness demos, heart health and skin and nail care.

FASHION SHOW
The Hampden Senior Center, 104 Allen St., will be presenting a fashion show on May 8 at 12:30 p.m. The public is welcome! Come and see a review of the latest spring and summer fashions presented in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. USE NATURE AS YOUR LIBRARY
The Storrs Library is participating in the Dept. of Conservation and Recreation's "Use Nature As Your Library" program. This program allows library patrons to borrow a ParksPass and visit Massachusetts state parks for free. The library is also a participant in the Mystic Aquarium Institute for Exploration library pass program. This program allows the pass users to save on the admission price to the aquarium. OPEN ENROLLMENT NIGHT
Greenwood Extended Day will begin enrollment for the 2009-10 school year on May 12 from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. Bring your checkbook, emergency contact numbers and child's pick up list to make completing the registration packet and leaving the deposit more convenient.
MUSIC FOR YOUNGSTERS
Clap, sing and move with your child in this program designed for your child's enjoyment. These six week programs will integrate singing, music and use of various instruments. All classes meet on Tuesday mornings in the Community Room at Greenwood Children's Center. Classes begin on May 5; infants and newborns - 15 months from 10 - 10:30 a.m. and toddler from 15 months - 3 years from 10:30 - 11:15 a.m. or 11:15 a.m. - noon. ABSENTEE BALLOTS

LONG. GARDENERS PLANT SALE
The Longmeadow Gardeners and St. Andrew's Church will host their annual plant sale on May 9 at 8 a.m. at the high school parking lot. The perennial plants in this sale are provided from the gardens of club members and friends. There will be a wide variety so come early for best selection. St. Andrew's will be selling hanging baskets of annuals.

A NIGHT TO REMEMBER
A Night to Remember for friends and alumni of Our Lady of Hope School will be on May 16 in the school auditorium. This event, to mark the school's closing, will begin with 4 p.m. Mass in church. A ziti and meatball dinner will take place afterwards in the school. Come and reminisce, tour the school and meet old friends. TEDDY BEAR PICNIC
The Wilbraham Children's Museum will host its annual Teddy Bear Picnic and Open House on May 17 from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m., featuring a visit from Winnie the Pooh and music by John O'Neill. Children are encouraged to play on the playground and explore the museum. Admission is free and the event is made possible by funding from a Wilbraham Community Assoc. grant.
