'Tis the Season!

HOLYOKE -- he Christmas season began in Holyoke on Dec. 3 with the official arrival of Santa Claus and the lighting of the municipal Christmas trees.

People gathered at the Merry-Go-Round and at City Hall where there was music, wagon rides and craft activities. Wellington T. Bear greeted guests at City Hall and is seen here with Tammy Morelli.

Santa arrived at Heritage State Park aboard a train.
