Contest makes important donation in honor of late student

WAY TO GO The Longmeadow High School Interact Club hosted another successful season of "Longmeadow Idol." With up to 15 participants, the club managed to raise $1,872 for the Western Massachusetts chapter of the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention. All of the proceeds were donated in memory of Harrison Rea. Interact Club President Ariel Miller and her fellow classmates presented the check to the Western Mass. foundation co-chairs Paul Lewis and Mary Pat McMahon. Additional photos include Longmeadow Idol performances.
