WEST SPRINGFIELD — From now through April 29, the West Springfield Public Library, 200 Park St., will host an exhibit by 17 West Springfield High School seniors, all members of the National Art Honors Society.

"The National Art Honor Society is a nationally recognized organization that acknowledges exemplary visual arts students in grades 10 through 12," Visual Arts Instructor Heather Kasunick, said. "National Art Honor Society students at West Springfield High School are nominated by their Visual Arts teacher, and exemplify the essence of an artist — dedicated, focused, explorative, and inventive. They possess a natural impulse to create, and to be inspired each day."

On display will be the works of the following students: Melanie Acevedo; Melinda Acevedo; Cate Amrich; Victoria Bigda; Jade Bryant; Siobhan Foley; Connor Hovey; Sarah Lane; Vicki Mosichjuk; Truc Nguyen; Bey Ney; Yen Nhi Phan; Brenda Roswess; Lauren Sandillo; Alyssa Sawyer; Courtney Skowron and Kenny Tran.

The exhibit will be in the library entryway. Library hours are Monday to Thursday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
