|If you have an outdoor wood furnace, bill 310 CMR7.26 is going to limit the time you can heat your house with wood. You will only be able to use the wood burning unit from Sept. 30 - April 15. The average low temperatures in the colder months which this new law does not allow the outdoor wood burning units to run are, in order, April 34.9 degrees, May 44.8 degrees and September 50 degrees.|
They are also going to limit which wood furnace you can use by emissions stack height and property line. If you don't want to be left out in the cold with oil heading to $5 a gallon, make your voice heard.
