Thank you for bringing this regional dilemma to our attention. This plant will effect the air quality regionally. The Pioneer Valley is already experiencing very poor air quality due to the fact that we live in a Valley and the prevailing winds bring in the air pollution from NYC, the Midwest coal plants, and the coal plant to the north of us.
This plant will directly impact all in the area. Environmental impact studies should be done and released to the public with the public being allowed to comment. Previous public comments were not allowed by non Springfield residents.
We need to protect our air quality and reduce our regional carbon footprint not increase it. This is not environmentally friendly, nothing about it is.
We need to all speak up before it is too late.

Save the air for our children.
