The world needs what YOU have to offer
This is undoubtedly a tricky, challenging, and at times even frustrating time to be in business. Negativity abounds if you chose to focus on the bad instead of the good. It takes a plane being landed on the Hudson River to divert the news media's attention away from all the "bad news" that they love to focus on. However, did you notice the number of hours of coverage that this courageous/miraculous act earned?!
The question you need to ask yourself is what is your "landing on the Hudson?" In other words what can you do for your business, your family, your partner, your friends to break out of the negativity trap. What can you do to turn your focus to what is right about your situation as opposed to what is wrong? What can you do to be a part of the solution as opposed to being part of the problem?
These are actually the best of times, not the worst of times. Those companies and families who disconnect from the negative, fear mentality, take risks and seize new opportunities, can have one of their best years ever. If your competition is running scared, you'd better be running too. Running right after their customers, that is.
The key to success is to never ever give up. Use these challenging times to reinvent yourself, your company, your family, and your friendships. Now more than ever the world needs what YOU have to offer. So, don't keep the world waiting.
