Armor to hold Coaches Clinic Nov. 12,

SPRINGFIELD – The Springfield Armor, NBA Development League affiliate of the Brooklyn Nets, invites coaches to its second annual Armor Basketball Coaches Clinic on Nov. 15 at the YMCA of Greater Springfield at 275 Chestnut St. The clinic will begin at 6 p.m.
Coaches of all age groups and skill levels will be welcomed for an evening of basketball and coaching development led by head coach Bob MacKinnon and Armor assistant coach Chris Carrawell. The evening's program includes an Armor practice, followed by a private "chalk talk" and question and answer session. Complimentary refreshments will be available.
Bob MacKinnon has 30 years of coaching experience and is a renowned teacher of the game. MacKinnon has previously been charged with running camps and clinics for the Los Angeles Lakers, as well as leading camps and training sessions for the NBA and NBA D-League. MacKinnon has also run youth camps with NBA All-Stars Jason Kidd and Steve Nash.
A father of four boys ages 7 to 19, MacKinnon is a strong believer in developing the fundamentals of basketball at an early age, while emphasizing hard work and fun. MacKinnon's experience ranges from coaching boys and girls at the youth level to training top collegiate players and NBA players.
