Springfield College to host girls' softball clinic

SPRINGFIELD Girls ages 10 through 15 will have opportunities to learn softball skills from former coaches and members of the Springfield College Softball Team at a free clinic on Aug. 2 from 10:30 a.m. to noon at Springfield College's Potter Field. A free cookout and alumnae softball game will follow.

Heading the coaching lineup will be Springfield College Softball Coach and Associate Professor of Physical Education Kathy Mangano, three-time NEWMAC Coach of the Year.
