A Sister's Grief



Dedicated to my sister who is dying of cancer



Shedding tears of her sisters fate



Showed sadly on her face



Overcome with fear and pain



Seeking relief day by day



The distant and dismal smile



Was never her style to display



She tried to relinquish it



As others came together to pray



Her frail body and pale drawn face



An anguished spirit was losing faith



Yet undying hope as she grapples to cope



For to endure this loss



She needs love the most
