2010-11 Season: Led Boston College in goals (31) and scoring with 52 points. Was his second consecutive 30-goal season. Made his AHL debut on 4-1-11 scoring game-winning goal and earning first star. Scored his third goal in just his fourth game on 4-9-11. Was a finalist for the Hobey Baker Award, given annually to the nation’s top collegiate hockey player.
2009-10 Season: Won a National Championship with Boston College and was named the team’s Most Valuable Player.
Career: Won the Outstanding Freshman Award with Boston College in 2008-09. Prior to Boston College, he played at Avon Old Farms where he was Prep Player of the Year his final year.
Drafted: Columbus Blue Jackets round six (157th overall) in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
Acquired: Signed an Amateur Tryout Agreement on March 29, 2011.
