2010-11 Season: Completed his fourth season with the Hamilton Bulldogs. Helped the Bulldogs reach the Calder Cup Western Conference Final.

2009-10 Season: Collected 37 points in 74 regular season games with the Hamilton Bulldogs. He added 12 points in 19 post-season games.

Career Notes: Set AHL career highs in goals (20), assists (19) and points (39) during the 2008-09

campaign. He split his first professional season in 2007-08 between Hamilton and Cincinnati (ECHL) and helped the Cyclones win the 2008 Kelly Cup. Prior to his professional career, he notched 98-118-216, 155 penalty minutes and a +61 cumulative plus/minus rating in 263 career WHL games from 2003-07. Twin brother of Blue Jackets defenseman Kris Russell.
