2010-11 Season: Started the season with the Columbus Blue Jackets. Stopped 26 of 27 shots in his Falcons season debut in a 2-1 win at Providence on 10-15-10. Stopped 25 of 27 shots on 10-22-10 in his second win of the year. Was the game's first star on 10-29-10 making 41 saves in a 2-1 win at Hartford. Earned his fourth win of the year on 10-30-10 stopping 22 of 24 shots. Stopped all four shooters in the shootout on 11-13-10 at Hartford in a 4-3 win.
2009-10 Season: Appeared in 67 games for Salzburg of the Austrian League in 2009-10, posting a 2.58 goals-against average, .906 save percentage and two shutouts. He was 6-2 with a 2.17 GAA in nine playoff games to lead Salzburg to the Austrian Championship.
2008-09 Season: Spent the season with the AHL's Iowa Chops where he led the club in games played (46), goals against average (2.95) and wins (20).
Career Notes: He also owns an 87-116-21 record with a 2.82 GAA, .909 SV% and seven shutouts in 231 career AHL games with Springfield, Utah, San Antonio, Hartford and Iowa. He was an AHL All-Star with Springfield during the 2003-04 season. David played two seasons at Cornell University from 2001-03 and went 39-5-2 with a 1.29 GAA and seven shutouts in 46 games.
