2008-09 Season: Skated in 200th AHL game October 10 @ Rochester. Scored first goal as a member of the Syracuse Crunch, an overtime game-winner, October 24 vs. Binghamton. Recorded four-game point-scoring streak (3g, 4a) October 24 - November 1. Named first star of the game November 1 @ Rockford. Injured shoulder on November 28 vs. Toronto and was out 4-6 months.
Career Notes: In his rookie season with Providence, Jonathan was the team's leading scorer among defensemen with 9 goals and 27 assists. Following the season he was awarded, along with David Lundbohm, Providence's Community Service Award. He was also named the team's recipient of the American Specialty/AHL Man of the Year Award for 2005-2006, in honor of his community service efforts. Jonathan played his first NHL game on January 9, 2007 with the Boston Bruins against the Ottawa Senators.
