Several Baystate Buccaneers Hockey Players play in all-star game

Several members of the Baystate Buccaneers Hockey Team were selected to play in the league all-star game which took place March 7 in Saratoga, N.Y. The Buccaneers are members of the Northeast Midget Hockey League and were league champions last year. Selected for the all-star team are Ethan Sobel of Longmeadow (defense), Austin Lapierre of Ludlow (offense) and Todd Peschetta of Ludlow (goalie). The game took place in between the playoffs. All players are seniors at their respective town high schools. Sobel and Lapierre were also members of last year's team. The Buccaneers are based out of the Olympia Ice Skating Rink in West Springfield.
