Central-West Girls Ice Hockey are gold medal champions again

The Central-West Girls Ice Hockey team were gold medal champions at the Bay State Games for the fourth consecutive year. The Gold Medal Game was played July 16. Central-West beat South-east-Coastal by a score of four to two. Local girls on the Central-West team are (from left to right): Jackie Tavella and Alexa Napolitan of East Long-meadow, Samantha Pion of Easthampton, Jessie Stowell of Hadley, Sarah Wilczynski of Ludlow and (kneeling) Hannah Insuik of Deerfield.
