EWGA to host kick-off event March 13,

GREATER SPRINGFIELD – The Greater Springfield Executive Women's Golf Association (EWGA) invites the public to attend their 2013 Kick Off and Golf Expo on April 5 at the Storrowton Carriage House in West Springfield from 5 to 10 p.m. The cost is $25 in advance and $30 at the door.
This event is open to all women 18 years of age and older. Attendees have the chance to join the GSEWGA, sign-up for leagues and upcoming events, win prizes, shop golf vendors and more. Guest speaker Lindsay Pitts, PGA, LPGA will be on hand.
The EWGA is a Florida not-for-profit 501(c)(6) corporation serving an international membership. The EWGA exists to connect women to learn, play and enjoy golf for business and for fun. The EWGA has served as a portal to golf and touched the lives of tens of thousands of women. EWGA has Chapters throughout the United States, along with international Chapters in Canada, Bermuda, South Africa and Italy. They offer a wide range of organized golf activities, learning programs, volunteer, social and networking opportunities for both novice and experienced golfers.
EWGA Chapter activities typically include: member recruitment events; weekly 'after work' 9-hole league play; two to three major tournaments; business networking and social functions; weekend golf outings; golf rules and etiquette seminars; education programs; a Chapter Championship (the qualifying event in the EWGA Championship); charity fundraising events; and volunteer installation and recognition events.
