SPRINGFIELD – The Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League (AHL), recently announced six of their home game dates for the 2011-12 season. The Falcons will be entering their 18th AHL season. The Falcons six approved home dates for the 2011-2012 season are Oct. 15, Nov. 4 and 26, Dec. 3 and 30 and Jan. 13.
“Having these six dates already set gives us an opportunity to start being creative with some different ideas to make these games attractive to fans,” Falcons President and General Manager Bruce Landon said. “It’s never too early to start pushing your group sales efforts and now having six approved dates gives us a head start.”
Opponents and starting times for these games will be announced when the complete 2011-12 AHL schedule is released later this summer.
