Hampden's D'Amato attending NCAA conference in Florida |

Victoria D'Amato, a junior at Fitchburg State College, has been chosen to attend the NCAA National Student-Athlete Development Conference taking place May 24 through 27 in Orlando, Fla. D'Amato is a 2006 graduate of the Wilbraham & Monson Academy and is a resident of Hampden.
At Wilbraham & Monson Academy, D'Amato lettered in soccer, swimming and lacrosse and she currently the captain of the women's lacrosse team at Fitchburg State.
The annual NCAA National Student-Athlete Development Conference provides NCAA student-athletes with a forum to openly discuss issues that may affect them on their campuses and in their communities, while also providing them with the opportunity to enhance their leadership, communication, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
