For children three to 14. Laurel Pond will be stocked with trout in preparation for the derby. Kids bring their own tackle and families enjoy a great community fellowship day. There will be prizes for first fish, longest fish and most fish caught in each age division. Refreshments for participants along with bait for fish will be available. Back this year: Touch-A-Truck! We will have some of our Parks trucks for the kids to see up close! Fishing derby will take place April 17 from 9 - 10:30 a.m. at Laurel Pond. This is a free event; pre-registration is not required.
