The Longmeadow High School girls lacrosse team will soon be hosting its annual first and second grade lacrosse clinic. The clinic will cover the basic skills and drills for girls lacrosse and will provide and fun and energetic environment for participants to learn the game. Members of the LHS girls lacrosse team, along with the coaches, will be instructing. The intent of this four-week program is to have fun while learning the basic skills of lacrosse: stick handling, cradling, scooping, throwing, catching, shooting, dodging and other fundamental techniques and skills. No previous lacrosse playing experience is required. The clinic will take place Saturdays, May 1 through 22 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Russell Field in Longmeadow.
