Legace returns to Springfield |

SPRINGFIELD The Springfield Falcons, proud members of the American Hockey League, announced on Oct. 20 that they have signed goaltender Manny Legace to a Professional Tryout Agreement.
Legace enters his 18th professional season and he is a veteran of 365 career NHL games posting a record of 187-99-41 with a 2.41 goals against average and 0.912 save percentage splitting time between the Los Angeles Kings, Detroit Red Wings, St. Louis Blues and Carolina Hurricanes.
Legace’s pro career started in Springfield with the Falcons starting in 1994. He has played in 118 career games with the Falcons, posting a record of 53-45-15. Legace remains fourth on the Falcons’ all-time games played list for goaltenders.
Legace remains the Falcons’ all-time leader in shutouts with eight.
