Longmeadow High School cheerleaders announce fundraiser |

LONGMEADOW The Longmeadow High School Cheerleaders are teaming up with Mon Ami Hair Design & Spa in Longmeadow in an effort to raise funds for their squad. Co-Captains Bonnie Shallbetter and Brittni Peck stated the money raised will help to offset the costs associated with the squad, such as warmup gear, summer camp and other team expenses. The cheerleaders will be selling $10 Club Cards which can be used for valuable savings on most services offered at Mon Ami, such as cuts, colors, hi-lites, up-do's, manicures, pedicures and facials. Discounts range from 10 to 20 percent and are good for the entire calendar year.
"You can support both the cheerleaders and a local business, save money and get pampered all at the same time," added squad member Hayley Olmsted, a junior at LHS.
Discount cards are available for just $10 each from any of the cheerleaders or you can contact Co-Captain Brittni Peck at 335-8951.
