After finishing the regular season in first place with a 9-3-2 record, the Longmeadow U14 girls travel soccer team took their play to the PVJSL tournament at Gateway Regional High School Oct. 31 and Nov. 1. The girls played stellar defensive soccer in beating Wilbraham 2-0 in the semi-finals and then capped off their season with a hard fought 1-0 win against South Hadley in the championship game. It was the second consecutive championship won by the girls.
